JavaScript Job Details

Albedo Informatics is currently seeking a Back-End Developer to work remotely based around our Toronto operation who possesses a strong knowledge of JavaScript and OOP using ECMAScript 6 or newer.

You will be working on a location-based mobile game alongside our experienced team and will require a high degree of teamwork skills as well as self direction.

Additional Requirements:

  • Knowledge of testing frameworks such as Chai or Mocha.
  • Ability to host servers via NGINX.
  • Experience with CircleCI or equivalent continuous integration technology.
  • Node.js and asynchronous programming techniques.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
  • Knowledge of MongoDB database and Mongoose connector.›
  • Knowledge of socket based programming.
  • Experience using Redis for data caching and messages passing between servers.
  • Experience managing clusters of servers.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $53,000.00-$110,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
